CUSTOMER BILLING AND PAYMENT - The water system's water meters shall be read once a month and bills calculated from these meter readings. The bills will be mailed the last week of the month to each customer. Bills are due and payable by the 20th of every month. Bills received after the 20th of the month, will have a 12% late fee added. If the bill isn't paid before the 30th of that month the service will be discontinued. (See cutoff policy below.)
If a customer does not receive a monthly bill, it is the customer's responsibility to call Central Rankin Water's office @ 601-845-7035 to find out how much he/she owes for his/her water service. Not receiving a bill is not an excuse for not paying your water bill.
It is the customer's responsibility to update his/her telephone number and/or email address in order that Central Rankin Water can contact the customer.
Our policy states: To connect only one dwelling (a shelter in which people live in and/or business; this also includes campers) to one water meter. There will be a $500 fine if we discover more than one hookup to your water meter.

LEAK AND ADJUSTMENT POLICY
The customer is responsible for ALL WATER that goes through the meter. We do not offer any adjustments for personal leaks, however, if you've had a leak (and fixed it) and expect a large bill please contact Gina (601) 845-7035 to work out a payment plan. We also do not offer any adjustments for filling a swimming pool.
CUT OFF POLICY
If you are cutoff due to non-payment there is a $40.00 reconnection fee. Services WILL NOT be restored until bill is paid in full along with the reconnection fee. It has to be paid in the office during normal business hours or online.
